Those Were The Days

This shows a picture of all of us in 1961 and then again in 2004. The top picture taken in December 1961 was used as our annual family photo Christmas card. The photo was taken in Mom and Dad's house on their frontroom stairs. The bottom photo was also taken on the same stairs...43 years later!
The caption on the page reads;
"We all got together at Mom and Dad's house and decided that it would be great to have our picture taken together on the stairs like when we were kids. Great idea...only one problem...we discovered that we could no longer fit on the stairs! Barbara said, "I don't have enough room", Steve said, "Oh god, my knee hurts to get in this position", Karen said, "How do we line up - I don't remember", and Ken didn't even have enough room to fit on the stairs, so he wasn't even standing on the stairs." My how things have changed in 40 something years. We have definitely hit the middle age years!"
