This is a poem that Barbara wrote when she was only 14 years old. The poem was written about VietNam, but the poem could apply to any time that there is war.
"Brotherhood"
Love and Peace should be with us tonite.
Why then do men go to VietNam to fight?
Love and peace we keep on saying,
Why not get down on our knees and start praying?
Brotherhood is something that we all need
Maybe the war will be over by next Christmans Eve.
Let's try to learn to live together
I'm sure the world would be so much better.
What I'm saying is to love each other
Try not to fight but to love your brother.
